Lazy Days of Summer
Whenever our Ladybug group gets together, Paul always ends up like this! This is the most special group of friends I have ever had been a part of. I love you guys!
My dad, Paul, Lily and I all went to the Royals baseball game on the 4th of July. It was so much fun! My mom and dad used to take me all the time when I was a kid, so it brought back nice memories for me.
For some reason I just love this little scene! I may have to go back and buy this frog for my meditation cushion. Maybe it will clue guests in that it's not a cat bed! We had so much fun shopping in this little store in Lawrence called Third Planet. Very hippie and cool!
We had such a nice day in Lawrence, hometown of the KU Jayhawks! It's the alma mater of Paul and myself, and hopefully Lily some day! My brainwashing tactics have begun... Here she'd already changed into the hippie dress she got at the above mentioned store. Too cute!
What a blast from the past. On a whim, I stopped by Oliver hall, my old college freshman dorm. A nice girl let me see my old room! It is exactly the same! I couldn't believe it. Nothing has been updated in the 20 years since I moved into this room! I remember living there so vividly - I hated it! It was a coed dorm - the party one of the whole campus. Kind of fun unless you wanted to sleep - or study. I wonder if the cockroaches are still there too? Lily didn't quite grasp the concept of the room. On the way out she said, "Why did you have two beds?" I told her I had to share that tiny room with another person! There are some benefits to growing older.
